TJ RAW

You have clicked the link. You have visited the page and may have possibly read a few of my pieces. But here's the thing. All these pieces despite being about different things, are building blocks. Like small parts to a machine. The machine being yours truly; Travis "TJ" James. Doesn't sound bad. But here lies a problem. A rather contradictory one when you think about it. These pieces are all you are seeing. Just words from a guy with a name and his face is rarely shown. And here I am asking for my trust to be earned. There hides a sense of guilt with me. So I thought long and hard about doing something fairly personal, but safe enough for me to share with you. That's when I came up with the idea of TJRAW. A small project that would all but remove this guilt I carried. It was originally going to be just me coming forward and sharing scars with full emotion. But in recent weeks, I had found myself with a surface not as penetrable compared to a couple of months ago. So I decided to have it explore other facets of my character as well.

TJRAW is 60 minutes of me verifying my identity to you. It's 60 minutes of me proving that all of what I've published here is accurate. At the same time, it's 60 minutes of me displaying my nature. From my quirks to my mannerisms. TJRAW is something I wasn't at all comfortable with recording, but that was meant to be the case. Here I try without much assistance to explain myself in the best way I can. A way that I hope can still make sense to you. This 60 minute special is split into six parts, with each going for approximately 10 minutes:
PART I: The introduction. Here I give a few quick details about TJRAW, myself and my blog.
PART II: I go into further detail about my blog and try to explain my connections with it.
PART III: Here I talk about some of my hobbies and a couple of my habitual behaviours.
PART IV: I talk a few more habitual behaviours. And I jump into why I encase myself from head to toe in gear.
PART V: I reveal a bit of my pain. A small dig into my tough experiences and much-despised past behaviours.
PART VI: I discuss my lack of talents as well as what annoys me. I finish of with the importance of my weirdness and remind you of what you may have picked up on when it comes to me talking.

QUICK NOTES
- These were filmed early in the morning while people were sleeping next door.
- You may pick up on other mannerisms, hopefully you don't find them too irritating (e.g. there is what I call the 'Skippy' pause, or the 'Gum Chew' pause if you're from outside Australia. I do it quite a lot here). It's all a part of me making this up as I go along.
- I'm sorry if the lighting bothers you. The source was my desk lamp which was directly in front of me and shining sort of my way.
- Tried to see if wearing a deep hood would help. May or may not ha... oh who am I kidding? I wore a hood because I wanted to. You'll rarely see me without one resting on my head. Not sorry for that. Haha!
